JCX, in collaboration with Terapanth Samaj Mumbai, is embarking on an ambitious project to chronicle the biographies of several esteemed shravaks. This endeavor seeks to illuminate their distinguished career trajectories and serve as a beacon of inspiration for the next generation, encouraging them to strive for excellence in both their professional and social endeavors. The project is slated for launch in December 2024.
Scholars of Jainism
Jainism is not merely a religion but a lifestyle and a philosophy. The doctrines of Jainism, recognized for their scientific validity, inclusivity, and progressive nature, stand as a testament to its profound wisdom.

JCX aspires to serve as a common platform for researchers and scholars of Jainism, supporting their endeavors to conserve and propagate its teachings, not only among Jains but also to humanity at large.

Furthermore, JCX will collate and provide access to various primary and secondary research conducted by scholars on Jain principles.
Preservation of Prakrit language
Prakrit, derived from the term “Prakriti” (Nature), is the language in which the original Jain sutras were spoken and later written. This language, prevalent among the common populace of the time, provides a nuanced and authentic expression of Jain doctrines.

Translations without a thorough understanding of Prakrit can lead to ambiguity for non-experts and may be susceptible to malicious interpretations. JCX is committed to collaborating with government agencies and other NGOs in this field to ensure the preservation of Prakrit.

This will be achieved through advocacy for government funding and other supportive measures.
